Second Life immediately drew me in with its promise of near endless creative freedom. I was so impressed at what other artists were able to accomplish, and it inspired me to start creating too!Little by little, I've been steadily learning. First with simple textures for eyes, lashes and brows for the OpenPony. Then coats, make-up & accessory BOMs, and mesh!I still have a lot of learn and much practicing to do, but I'm having so much fun through every step ♡

Regarding Generative AI...

I, and by extension my store, will never use generative AI in any way, shape or form. Seal Moon products are all, and always will be, made by people. Not AI.Furthermore, I refuse to collaborate or support any person or store who uses generative AI.

Below I'll list off a bunch of helpful tutorials and resources for getting started or refining your artistic skills without the use of AI!

Toy division head, Ms. Dolly Household the living dollhouse pony! I'd say she'd got the perfect job for her, wouldn't you?
(She/her or Any)Ms. Household oversees toy creation! She comes up with a majority of the designs and handles their creation.

Fashion division head, Rocket Pop the unicorn! They may slack off quite a bit, but they always get the job done. And real well too!
(Any Pronouns)His role is rather broad but mainly handles clothing and accessories.

Animals & Animal Care division head, Aer the semi-robotic pony. A reserved and quiet pony, but deeply passionate and empathetic.
(Any Pronouns)She is responsible for tending to any animals in our care as well as informing and teaching customers about their needs and care requirements.

Food division head, Maple Stirrup the earth pony. A total sweetheart who'll win over even the grumpiest ponies with her cooking.
(She/her)Despite her ability to handle even the most complex of recipes, she prefers more simplistic recipes.
It's not the ingredients that make the meal, but the love and care that goes into it.

General ToS

The following apply to all Seal Moon products/artwork sold both in-world & on the Marketplace. Certain rules may not apply to adoptables/OOAK, see below for their terms.

- I do not allow any of my content to be used as training data or otherwise used with generative AI. This includes image and text generation.- Texture/mesh ripping or copy botting is not allowed. If you require a UV or additional textures, you may ask me and I will see if I can provide them for you.- If a product has the transfer permission granted, always make sure to read any notecards provided with your item before re-distributing. It's possible I have disallowed resale for that item.- You are allowed to use any full perm items you own on your alt. account as well. But if re-distribution is not allowed for that product, please refrain from giving it to anyone else.

Adoptable ToS

These terms apply to adoptables, one of a kind character designs that will include (at least) a body/coat texture, custom mesh, art, and the rights to the character design.To simplify the list and make this as short as possible, I will provide bullet points of Dos & Don'ts.

You MAY
✅ Share your full perm items (BOMs, mesh, textures, etc.) with friends or give to your alt. account.
✅ Use the character design in ways that may generate profit (Merchandising, advertising, etc.)
✅ Edit your full perm items or re-use them for your other avatars.
✅ Edit the design of the character to your liking.
✅ If no longer desired, you may sell, trade or gift the character design to a different person and pass on the full perm items to them.
✅ Co-own the character with another person.

You may NOT/Be advised:
❌ Individually sell items to multiple people, whether in-world, on the marketplace, or elsewhere. (i.e. Placing the mane on the marketplace to be sold in your store.)
❌ If you plan to transfer ownership to someone else via sale, trade, or gifting, you MUST include all items you originally purchased (BOM layers, textures, mesh, art, etc.)

Adoptable FAQs

"What are adopts? How do they differ from typical OOAKs (One-of-a-kinds)?"
╰┈➤ˎˊ While some OOAKs may only be mod or transfer only, these adopts are all full perm. All textures, BOMs, mesh, etc. will be full perm. You will also obtain all rights to the character design, personal and commercial. Meaning you will be the sole owner of your new character."What will I receive in the box when I purchase the adopt?"
╰┈➤ˎˊ Typically, the information will be labeled on the ad image or a notecard if you are unsure. But every adopt will always include:
- BOM layers for the coat
- Shaded & unshaded textures of the coat in case you would like to edit your BOM layers or edit the image on an image editing software.
- At least 1 mesh item. Typically a hair/mane and/or tail. There also may be accessories included. Whether or not these are rigged will also be listed."For the OpenPony, can I use a different body/gender than the one used in the ad?"
╰┈➤ˎˊ Texture-wise, yes! It should work find as both the mare and stallion body use the same exact UV. There may be some slight differences or stretching but overall there really should not be any issues. As for the mesh items, I cannot guarantee they will fit but as long as the item is unrigged you should be able to re-position them to your liking."Can I edit the texture files or artwork?"
╰┈➤ˎˊ For these adopts only, you have my permission to alter both the provided textures (i.e. the coat, cutiemark, eyelashes) and artwork if you would like to."Can I have the blend file for the mesh?"
╰┈➤ˎˊ At this time I do not provide blender files, just in-world mesh. I do not re-use anything provided though."Help! There's an item missing/I accidentally lost or deleted my items!"
╰┈➤ˎˊ No problem! Although I do not re-use any sold adopts, I hold onto packages in my "sold" folder of my inventory. This way if you need a re-delivery I can just send it right on over again!"Will all adopts be priced the same?"
╰┈➤ˎˊ Not always! But typically they will be around 3.5k L$ (~$13 in USD before fees)
